  • Graphite: It  is mostly used in pencils and can be powdered to be used as lubricant. It's an extremely high quality coal

  • Lignite: Also known as 'brown coal', it is used in steam-electric power generator as a source of fuel. It is regarded as an inferior quality of coal.
